A coextruded multilayer film includes a core layer including an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer; two intermediate layers each including a blend of an amorphous polyamide having a glass transition temperature of at least 80~ C, and a semicrystalline polyamide; two outer layers each including an olefinic polymer; and two tie layers each adhering an intermediate layer to a respective outer layer; wherein the film exhibits an elongation at yield (ASTM D 882) of less than 15% in each of the longitudinal and transverse directions, and a free shrink (ASTM D 2732) at 200~F of less than 8% in each of the longitudinal and transverse directions. An aseptic package includes a sterilized food product, and a sterilized pouch in which the sterilized food product is disposed, the sterilized pouch including the coextruded multilayer film of the invention. A method of making an aseptic package is also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un film multicouche coextrudé qui comprend une couche centrale comprenant un copolymère d~éthylène et d~alcool vinylique ; deux couches intermédiaires comprenant chacune un mélange d~un polyamide amorphe ayant une température de transition vitreuse d~au moins 80 °C et d~un polyamide semi-cristallin ; deux couches externes comprenant chacune un polymère oléfinique ; et deux couches de liaison faisant chacune adhérer une couche intermédiaire à une couche externe respective. Dans la présente invention, le film montre un allongement au seuil d~écoulement (ASTM D 882) de moins de 15 % dans chacun des sens longitudinal et transversal, ainsi qu~un rétrécissement libre (ASTM D 2732) à 200 °F de moins de 8 % dans chacun des sens longitudinal et transversal. Un paquet aseptique comprend un produit alimentaire stérilisé et une poche stérilisée dans laquelle ledit produit alimentaire est disposé, ladite poche comprenant le film multicouche coextrudé de l~invention. Un procédé de fabrication d~un paquet aseptique est également décrit.
