Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to a device for securing a foot to a rigid ski bootshell. A foot conformable yoke, in cooperation with cables, tubular conduits and a single lever type latch, urge the foot rearward-downward upon moving the latch to the foot retaining position. The foot is free to enter and exit when the latch is in the foot release position. Only a single manipulation of the latch is quired to secure or release the foot. The latch is located on the outside surface of the lower rear heel portion of the shell, making the foot securing device compatible with a wide range of ski boot structures.
