The invention relates to a security element for the identification of a security document, in particular a banknote, a valuable paper or a paper document, comprising at least one electrically controllable display element and at least one piezoelectric energy source which controls the at least one display element. The security element is formed by a flexible multilayered film body comprising the at least one electrically controllable display element containing a display layer having liquid crystals that can be oriented in an electric field, and comprising the at least one piezoelectric energy source which controls the at least one display element and has at least one layer composed of piezoelectric material, wherein the security element has a thickness of at most 70 µm in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the film body.

L'invention concerne un élément de sécurité (1, 1', 1' ', 1' ' ', 1 ' ' ' ') servant à caractériser un document de sécurité (100), notamment un billet de banque, un titre de valeur ou un document papier, et comprenant au moins un élément de visualisation (1b) pouvant être commandé électriquement et au moins une source d'énergie piézoélectrique (1a) commandant l'élément de visualisation. L'élément de sécurité est formé par un corps de film multicouche souple qui comprend l'élément de visualisation pouvant être commandé électriquement et contenant une couche de visualisation (5) munie de cristaux liquides orientables dans un champ électrique, ainsi que la source d'énergie piézoélectrique commandant l'élément de visualisation et présentant au moins une couche (4) en matériau piézoélectrique. L'élément de sécurité a perpendiculairement au plan du corps de film une épaisseur de 70 µm au maximum.
