A posture correcting brassiere comprises a web of material for supporting the breasts of a wearer, the web being defined by opposed left and right ends, a top edge and a bottom edge. A torso strap is formed into a loop and having an upper back portion, left and right front portions, left and right underarm portions, and a lower back portion. The left end of the web of material is secured to the left front portion of the torso strap and the right end of the web of material is secured to the front right portion of the torso strap such that the web of material spans therebetween in breast supporting relation. The upper back portion of the torso strap and the lower back portion of the torso strap are securely connect together.
