A light diffusing polycarbonate resin plate obtained by co-extrusion molding of a surface layer of polycarbonate resin composition containing an antistatic agent superimposed on at least one major surface of base material of polycarbonate resin composition containing a light diffusing agent, characterized in that the antistatic agent is a specified organic sulfonic acid phosphonium salt, and that the antistatic agent is contained in an amount of over 2.0 to 10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of polycarbonate resin used in the surface layer, and that further, according to necessity, a polycaprolactone is contained in an amount of 0.01to 15 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of polycarbonate resin used in the surface layer. This light diffusing polycarbonate resin plate without detriment to the transparency of polycarbonate resin has excellent antistatic property, light diffusing capability and brightness, and finds suitable application in uses needing high-level optical performance, especially a light diffusing plate used in, for example, a backlight for liquid crystal display unit.
L'invention concerne une plaque de résine de polycarbonate diffusant la lumière obtenue par moulage par coextrusion d'une couche de surface d'une composition de résine de polycarbonate contenant un agent antistatique superposé sur au moins une surface majeure de la matière de base de la composition de résine de polycarbonate contenant un agent diffusant la lumière, caractérisée par le fait que l'agent antistatique est un sel de phosphonium d'acide sulfonique organique spécifié, et que l'agent antistatique est contenu dans une quantité de plus de 2,0 à 10 parties en poids pour 100 parties en poids de la résine de polycarbonate utilisée dans la couche de surface, et qu'en outre, selon la nécessité, une polycaprolactone est contenue dans une quantité de 0,01 à 15 parties en poids pour 100 parties en poids de la résine de polycarbonate utilisée dans la couche de surface. Cette plaque de résine de polycarbonate diffusant la lumière sans nuire à la transparence de la résine de polycarbonate est dotée d'une propriété antistatique, d'une capacité de diffusion de la lumière et d'une brillance excellentes, et trouve une application satisfaisante dans des utilisations nécessitant une performance optique de haut niveau, notamment une plaque diffusant la lumière utilisée par exemple dans un éclairage de fond pour une unité d'affichage à cristaux liquides.
