A refractive anterior chamber iris fixated intraocular lens including an optic (28) portion having an outer peripheral edge (30) and two or more but preferably two, three or four balanced haptic elements (32). Each haptic element is of a relatively narrow arch-like form. Each haptic element is also manufactured to have an inner portion and an outer portion for supporting the optic portion in a patient's eye. The inner portion (34) of each haptic element is permanently connected to the outer peripheral edge of the optic portion. Each haptic element also includes a fixation clamp on the outer portion thereof and a central portion (A4) located between the outer portion and the inner portion.
L'invention concerne un cristallin artificiel se fixant à l'iris dans la chambre antérieure réfractive, qui comprend une partie optique présentant un bord périphérique extérieur et deux ou davantage, mais de préférence deux, trois ou quatre éléments haptiques équilibrés. Chaque élément haptique est en forme d'arc relativement étroit. Chaque élément haptique est en outre fabriqué de manière à comporter une partie intérieure et une partie extérieure destinées à maintenir la partie optique dans l'oeil d'un patient. La partie intérieure de chaque élément haptique est reliée en permanence au bord périphérique extérieur de la partie optique. Chaque élément haptique comprend aussi une pince de fixation sur sa partie extérieure, et une partie centrale située entre la partie extérieure et la partie intérieure.
