A SUBSET OF HUMAN PROGENITOR CELLS Abstract A substantially pure population of human progenitor stem cells which lack CD38 but express CD34 is claimed. These stem cells are pluripotent and are capable of blast colony formation. These cells may be used in bone marrow transplantation and gene therapy.
