A method and device for performing some preprocessing on voice transmissions depending upon the intended destination of the transmission. The device includes a receiving component configured to receive a voice signal from a source over a network. The device also includes a processing component configured to determine a destination address associated with the received signal, determine a signal processing algorithm from a plurality of signal processing algorithms based on the determined address, and process the voice signal according to the specified algorithm. The device further includes a delivery component configured to send the processed signal to the associated address.
Il s'agit d'une méthode et d'un dispositif qui permettent de traiter des transmissions vocales, selon la destination visée de la transmission. Ce dispositif comprend un élément de réception configuré pour recevoir un signal vocal d'une source sur un réseau. Ledit dispositif comprend aussi un élément de traitement configuré pour déterminer une adresse de destination associée au signal reçu, déterminer un algorithme de traitement de signal, à partir de multiples algorithmes de traitement de signal, en fonction de l'adresse déterminée, et traiter le signal vocal conformément à l'algorithme prescrit. Ce dispositif comprend de plus un élément de livraison, configuré pour envoyer le signal traité à l'adresse associée.
