The present invention relates to absorbent articles which provide improved protection against skin overhydration. A particularly preferred embodiment of an absorbent article of the present invention comprises a body contacting surface having a skin care composition thereon that, when at least a portion of the composition is transferred to a wearer's skin by normal body motion or body heat, the material is effective in providing a skin condition benefit and a backsheet having a MVTR of at least about 500 g/m2/24 hr. An alternative preferred embodiment of the absorbent article further includes a liquid impermeable, breathable backsheet having a mass vapor transmission rate value (MVTR) of at least about 1300 g/m2/24 hr and an absorbent core having a post acquisition collagen rewet method value (PACORM) with a PACORM:MVTR ratio is less than 0.05 mg/(g/m2/24 hr).
Cette invention concerne des articles absorbants qui offrent une meilleure protection contre une sur-hydratation de la peau. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, l'article absorbant comprend une surface qui entre en contact avec le corps et sur laquelle est appliquée une composition de soin de la peau. Lorsqu'elle est transférée en partie au moins sur la peau de la personne grâce à la chaleur ou aux mouvements normaux du corps, cette composition a pour effet d'améliorer l'état de la peau. Cet article comprend également un voile inférieur qui possède un indice de transmission de vapeur d'au moins 500 g/m<2>/jour environ. Dans un autre mode de réalisation préféré, cet article absorbant comprend également un voile inférieur imperméable aux liquides et respirant qui possède un indice de transmission de vapeur (ITV) d'au moins 1300 g/m<2>/jour environ, ainsi qu'un noyau absorbant qui possède une valeur PACORM (procédé de remouillage au collagène post-acquisition) telle que le rapport PACORM:ITV est inférieur à 0,05 mg/(g/m<2>/jour).
