A binding system for attaching a boot to a snowshoe wherein a greater percentage of the energy from the movements of the boot is transmitted to the snowshoe binding and the snowshoe which then assists in more efficient movement of the snowshoe. The binding system also provides increased control of the snowshoe. The binding system comprises resilient elastic flexible material (18) attached to the perimeter of the boot and straps (13) looped through the front of the toe area of the boot to points in the front perimeter (10) of the snowshoe, and also a resilient elastic strap (16) around the instep of the boot attached to the rear section of the snowshoe.
L'invention concerne un système de fixation permettant d'attacher une chaussure sur une raquette à neige, et caractérisé en ce qu'un pourcentage supérieur de l'énergie provenant des déplacement de la chaussure est transmis à la fixation de la raquette et à la raquette, laquelle apporte ainsi une aide à un déplacement plus efficace de la raquette. Ce système de fixation permet également une maîtrise accrue de la raquette et il se compose d'un matériau souple, élastique et résilient (18), fixé sur le périmètre de la chaussure, sur des lanières (13) formant une boucle dans la zone antérieure de la chaussure et sur des points situés dans le périmètre antérieur (10) de la raquette, ainsi que d'une sangle élastique (16) placée autour de la chaussure, au niveau de la cheville, et fixée sur la section arrière de la raquette.
