The invention consists of a nebulizer with media to turn a liquid into a mist and media to transport the mist to a patient. In this invention, the transport media have an air circulation channel with an air intake and an outlet towards the patient, between which the mist formed is taken by the air current, and a free air outlet. It also includes an intake check valve in the air intake and an outlet check valve in the air outlet, media to read the air pressure in the transport media and media to deliver an indicator or warning signal depending on the value of the signal provided by the pressure reader and to determine at least one threshold for the indicator or warning signal so the patient can control the flow of the air current produced in the circulation channel when he breathes in by noting the amplitude or value of the indicator or warning signal in comparison with the threshold corresponding to a specific negative pressure in the air circulation channel and thus try to inhale predetermined quantities of mist according to the particular threshold level.
