Apparatus for resisting forced entry through a door hung in a door jamb. A U-shaped bracket is fastened over a vertical, swinging edge of the door to cover sub- stantially the entire length of the edge and to overlap inward and outward surfaces of the door. An L-shaped bracket is fastened over a latch side of the door jamb to cover substantially the entire length of the jamb latch side, overlapping an inward surface of the jamb. Latch and lock members mounted in the door protrude through apertures provided in the brackets.
