In addition, to its own therapeutic features, this new composition solves the inconveniences of the current products, medicines and procedures, that have an important toxicity level and/or cause non desired side effects. L'invention concerne une composition caractérisée en ce qu'elle est constituée de molécules identifiées comme étant des labdanes diterpéniques obtenus à partir d'une espèce végétale intéressante l'Andrographis paniculata, herbe séchée à l'aide d'un procédé d'extraction spécial. Ladite composition permet de traiter les maladies immunologiques auto-immunes chez les êtres humains et les animaux, présente une faible toxicité et ne provoque pas d'effets secondaires significatifs. Cette nouvelle composition est utilisée pour préparer une composition pharmaceutique permettant de traiter et de prévenir la maladie d'Alzheimer. Elle inhibe la synthèse des cytokines pro-inflammatoires résultant de l'activation du récepteur PPAR gamma et de la diminution du facteur nucléaire kappa B. En outre, quant à ces caractéristiques thérapeutiques, la nouvelle composition évite les inconvénients des produits, médicaments et procédures actuels qui présentent un niveau de toxicité important et/ou provoquent des effets secondaires non désirés. Cette invention est utilisée dans des applications d'immunopharmacologie, de pharmacologie préclinique et clinique humaine et vétérinaire, de technologie pharmaceutique, de rhumatologie, d'immunologie clinique, d'immunothérapie, de transplantation d'organe et de tissu et dans des maladies de l'immunodéficience telles que le sida.
