A dry, water-soluble, substituted phenoxy and/or benzoic acid herbicide is prepared by dry blending the herbicide in acid form with a dry solid solubilization medium selected from the group consisting of diammonium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate, disodium phosphate, trisodium phosphate and tripotassium phosphate. At least about 0.6 to about 1.15 moles of the medium are provided for each mole of active herbicidal agent in the initially dry blended mixture.

Préparation d'un herbicide anhydre, hydrosoluble, à base d'acide benzoïque et/ou avec substitution phénoxy par mélange à sec de l'herbicide sous forme acide avec un milieu de solubilisation solide anhydre comme un groupe composé de phosphate monoacide d'ammonium, de phosphate dipotassique, de phosphate trisodique et de phosphate tripotassique. Le mélange composé anhydre initial fournit au moins entre 0,6 mole et 1,5 mole environ de milieu par mole d'herbicide actif.
