A bio-energy system (20) includes a waste collecting station (21 ) at which raw waste material such as municipal waste, household waste and the like is collected. The waste is delivered through a rotating organic material digester (22) in a controlled manner for converting the organic waste material content of the raw waste to a bio- fuel. Treated material discharged from the digester (22) is passed through a screen (28) to remove any inorganic materials, leaving the bio-fuel. The bio-fuel is dried at a drying station (35) and then delivered to a boiler (38) for combustion to generate energy.
L~invention concerne un système bioénergétique (20) comportant une station de collecte de déchets (21) au niveau de laquelle sont collectés des déchets bruts tels que des déchets urbains, des déchets ménagers et autres. Les déchets sont acheminés de façon régulée à travers un digesteur de matières organiques rotatif (22) en vue de transformer les matières organiques contenues dans les déchets bruts en biocarburant. Les matières traitées refoulées par le digesteur (22) sont acheminées à travers un filtre (28) servant à éliminer les matières inorganiques pour ne laisser que le biocarburant. Le biocarburant est séché au niveau d~une station de séchage (35) puis acheminé vers une chaudière (38) où sa combustion génère de l~énergie.
