A B S T R A C T A three dimensional parametric modeling method capable of creating a model for accurately describing a three dimensional solid after shape change. After creation of topological data (30) and geometrical data (40) representing a topological structure and geometric features of a solid which is recognized as being a rigid body, a transformation matrix (51) indicative of a change of orientation of each of one or more solid sections, amounts (52) of change in coordinate position components of two curve definition points representative of each of one or more edges of the solid, and a change amount (53) in a coordinate position component of each of one or more vertexes are respectively calculated on the basis of the size, shape, material and load conditions of the solid, and shape change data (50) is created based upon the calculation results. During simulated operation of the solid, or reference to particular part of the solid, or screen display of the solid, a transformation matrix (41) representative of the orientation of a solid section concerned and/or a coordinate position component 42) of a curve definition point concerned and/or a coordinate position component (43) of a vertex concerned is or are corrected in accordance with the first-mentioned transformation matrix and the change amounts of the coordinate positions of the definition point(s) and the vertex(s), to thereby create a three dimensional model after shape change.
