This disclosure relates to a process for manufacturing a mono-alkylaromatic aromatic compound, said process comprising contacting a feedstock comprising an alkylatable aromatic compound and an alkylating agent under alkylation reaction conditions with a catalyst comprising EMM-13, wherein said EMM-13 is a molecular sieve comprising a framework of tetrahedral atoms bridged by oxygen atoms, the tetrahedral atom framework being de-fined by a unit cell with atomic coordinates in nanometers shown in Table 3.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'un composé aromatique monoalkyl aromatique. Ce procédé comprend la mise en contact d'une charge d'alimentation comprenant un composé aromatique alkylable et un agent alkylant dans des conditions de réaction d'alkylation avec un catalyseur comprenant EMM-13, ledit EMM-13 étant un tamis moléculaire comprenant un squelette d'atomes tétrahydriques pontés par des atomes d'oxygène, le squelette d'atomes tétrahydriques étant défini par une cellule unitaire avec des coordonnées atomiques en nanomètres présentées dans le Tableau 3.
