The present invention is directed to a light emitting device comprising: a light emitting component capable of emitting blue light, and a coating member covering said light emitting component and containing a phosphor capable of absorbing a part of blue light emitted by said light emitting component and emitting light of wavelength different from that of the absorbed light, wherein the color of said phosphor is yellow and said coating member is colored opal by containing a dispersant. The light emitting device of the present invention is subject to less deterioration of emission characteristic even when used with high luminance for a long period of time.
La présente invention est axée sur un dispositif électroluminescent qui comprend les éléments qui suivent. Un élément électroluminescent qui peut émettre de la lumière bleue; un revêtement recouvrant ledit élément électroluminescent et qui contient un luminophore pouvant absorber une partie de la lumière bleue émise par cet élément émettant une lumière de longueur d'onde différente de la longueur d'onde de la lumière absorbée. La couleur du luminophore est jaune et le revêtement est coloré en opale par un dispersant qu'il contient. Le dispositif électroluminescent de la présente invention subit moins de détérioration de sa caractéristique d'émission, même lorsqu'il est utilisé avec une luminosité élevée pendant longtemps.
