ABSTRACT These devices " Fishing Rod Stands" for spare rods have a main shaft which is pointed at one end to enable it to be pushed into the ground. At a suitable position above the pointed end of the main shaft is a fixed sleeve to accept the handle of a fishing rod, above that is a spring clip to accept and secure the fishing rod handle.
