In the production of pulp and paper from starch-containing paper, the deinking effect can be improved by including treatment with both a starch-degrading enzyme and a pectate lyase. The process comprises enzyme treatment during or after disintegration of the paper to produce pulp, followed by separation of ink particles.

Pour la production de pâte ou de papiers, on peut améliorer le désencrage des papiers à teneur en amidon à l'aide d'un traitement recourant à une enzyme dégradant l'amidon, ainsi qu'à de la pectatelyase. Le procédé comporte un traitement par les enzymes pendant ou après la désintégration du papier pour produire la pâte, suivi de la séparation des particules d'encre.
