An apparatus and a method to continuously make small fire logs and parts thereof from pulp waste particles Abstract An apparatus to continuously make small fire logs and parts thereof from pulp waste particles, comprising a high-pressure tubular section. The tubular section has a front end, a rear end and between those ends, a plurality of flanged pipe sections, for flange unions, for joining in series the pipe sections into the tubular section. Between the flanges of the sections being joined, a spacer allows water to drain between the flange unions. Near the rear end of the tubular section, at least one of the pipe sections is taper. The front end of the tubular section is provided with a feeding screw and a positive-displacement reciprocating piston to expel water between the flange unions and eventually converged for further compaction and dryness and then expelled into small fire logs and parts thereof the pulp waste particles. A method for carrying same is also disclosed.
