The aim has been to provide a simplified and improved hydraulic actuator in the form of a hydraulic piston type cylinder (10) meant for use under water or in other environments, in which the actuator is exposed to elevated ambient pressure. The actuator comprises a force-exerting element in the form of a piston (14), forming a movable partition wall between two chambers (24, 26). This force-exerting element, the piston, is driven in one of two opposite directions, when different pressures prevail in the two chambers (24, 26). According to the invention, each of the two chambers (24, 26) are to allow evacuation, as at least one chamber, the first chamber (24), is to be provided with an inlet (36) with a shut-off valve (38) arranged thereto, and in contact with the ambient medium. By an open inlet (36) water or other surrounding medium is admitted into a first chamber (24) and drives the piston (14) into said second evacuated chamber (26) against the action of a return spring (28).
L'invention concerne un actionneur hydraulique simplifié et amélioré présentant la forme d'un cylindre (10) de type piston hydraulique conçu pour être utilisé sous l'eau ou dans d'autres environnements, dans lesquels l'actionneur est exposé à une température ambiante élevée. L'actionneur comprend un élément exerçant une force qui présente la forme d'un piston (14), définissant une paroi de séparation amovible entre deux chambres (24, 26). Cet élément exerçant une force (piston) est actionné dans une ou deux directions opposées, lorsqu'il y a des pressions différentes dans les deux chambres (24, 26). Selon le procédé décrit dans cette invention, chacune des deux chambres (24, 26) peut être purgée, l'une des chambres, au moins, la première chambre (24) étant, d'une part, pourvue d'un orifice d'entrée et d'une soupape d'arrêt (38) disposée à l'intérieur, et, d'autre part, en contact avec le milieu ambiant. De l'eau ou tout autre milieu environnant pénètre dans la première chambre (24) par un orifice d'entrée (36) ouvert, ce qui déplace le piston (14) dans la seconde chambre (26) purgée à contresens du déplacement d'un ressort de rappel (28).
