A process of producing a plastic heat exchanger where a multiplicity of tubes (6) are welded to tube headers (1) having raised collars (4) surrounding each of the tubes (6), using an infrared energy source such as a laser to melt-bond the tubes (6) to the collars (4).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire un échangeur thermique en plastique, dans lequel plusieurs tubes (6) sont soudés à des tubes collecteurs (1) dotés de colliers (4) en saillie autour de chacun des tubes (6), à l'aide d'une source d'énergie infrarouge tel qu'un laser, afin de relier par fusion les tubes (6) aux colliers (4).
