A method and system for generating an electronic key used in an electronic transaction can be created by executing a one-way function on a host that derives the electronic key from a key seed saved in a on-volatile storage unit of the host and a unique host identification that is resident on the host. The function is preferably executed each time an electronic transaction requiring the use of the electronic key is made.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de générer une clé électronique utilisée dans une transaction électronique. Ledit procédé consiste à exécuter une fonction univoque sur un hôte, laquelle fonction calcule la clé électronique à partir d'une valeur de départ de clé mémorisée dans une mémoire non volatile de cet hôte et d'une identification d'hôte unique résidant sur cet hôte. Cette fonction est, de préférence, exécutée à chaque fois qu'une transaction électronique nécessitant l'utilisation de cette clé électronique est réalisée.
