A Chimney Top Exhaust Accelerator comprising a metal air-deflecting plate fabricated into an inverted channel, cambered to a precise angle for optimum laminar air passage, configured to extend outward from the pipe circumference, positioned contiguously level with the uppermost edge of the pipe exit and thence clamped by metal strap tightly thereupon. Combustion gases accumulating within a heating appliance should naturally convect up its chimney and exit the top. Wind-gust related increased air pressure interferes with this convection. Mounted on the side of the chimney pipe, an Exhaust Accelerator plate utilizes "aerofoil" characteristics to thereby create a vacuum at the exit of the pipe, thereupon beneficially altering the effect of said wind gusts. Concurrently said vacuum acts to reduce wind gust related pipe top circumfused air pressure thence allowing combustion gases to properly convert and freely escape the pipe exit.
