This invention provides a method that allows selection of antibodies against cells (e.g. tumor cells) in situ using laser capture microdissection. By restricting antibody selection to binders of internalizing epitopes, a panel of phage antibodies was generated that targets clinically represented prostate cancer antigens.

Cette invention porte sur un procédé qui permet la sélection d'anticorps dirigés contre des cellules (par exemple, des cellules tumorales) in situ à l'aide d'une microdissection par capture laser. Le fait de ne choisir que les anticorps qui se liaient à des épitotes subissant une internalisation a permis de développer un panel de phages-anticorps capables de cibler des antigènes du cancer de la prostate cliniquement représentés.
