A system for pressure testing the seals and fittings associated with at least one communication line (26) passing through a well tool mandrel (12), each communication line housed within a communication line conduit (16) defined through the well tool and sealingly engaged to each end of its corresponding communication line conduit by way of a fitting (53) and the fittings also sealingly engaged to the communication line conduit. The system generally comprises a testing conduit (34) and testing passageway system (47) defined in the well tool mandrel. A testing plug (44) provides fluid communication between a pressure testing source and the testing passageway system. Pressurized fluid is guided from the testing plug, through the testing passageway system, into the communication line conduits, and into contact with the fittings and seals associated with each of the communication line conduits. Leaks indicate the presence of a faulty engagement of the fittings or seals associated with the communication line conduits.
L'invention concerne un système pour tester la pression des dispositifs d'étanchéité et des raccords associés à au moins une ligne de communication (26) passant dans le mandrin (12) d'un outil de forage. Chaque ligne de communication est logée dans une conduite (16) définie dans l'outil de forage et se mettant en prise en vue d'assurer une étanchéité, de chaque côté, avec la conduite de la ligne de communication correspondante au moyen d'un raccord (53). Ces raccord se mettent également en prise, en vue d'assurer une étanchéité, avec la conduite de la ligne de communication. Ce système comprend généralement une conduite d'essai (34) et un passage d'essai (47) défini dans le mandrin. Un obturateur d'essai (44) assure la communication du fluide entre une source d'essai de pression et le passage d'essai. Le fluide sous pression est guidé depuis l'obturateur, dans le passage d'essai puis dans les conduites de la ligne de communication, jusqu'à entrer en contact avec les raccords et les dispositifs d'étanchéité associés à chaque conduite. Les fuites indiquent la présence d'un défaut de la mise en prise des raccords ou des dispositifs d'étanchéité avec les conduites de la ligne de communication.
