ABSTRACT An apparatus for rapidly and thoroughly mixing two gaseous fluid flow streams. The apparatus includes a mixing duct partially surrounded by a plenum. A flow of gaseous fluid such as air is communicated from the plenum to the mixing duct via a plurality of axially aligned elongated slots which are configured to promote the mixing of the two flows.
