This disclosure relates to a package (10) and a method of making the package (10). The package (10) comprises (a) a web material (12) to form an enclosed package (10) comprising a seal (18) having two seal ends (20,24) and a package side edge (28), and wherein the seal (18) is a fin seal or an overlap seal; (b) a first tear initiation point (32) located on the package side edge (28); and (c) a second tear initiation point (31), wherein the second tear initiation point (31) is located on the seal (18).
