A method and system for providing on a user computer supplied information from at least one information supplier, the supplied information relating to the primary information displayed via an application in which: (a) the state of the application displaying the primary information to the user is monitored; (b) a context packet derived from the primary information is provided to at least one information supplier; (c) the supplied information from the at least one information supplier, which relates to the primary information is received; and (d) the supplied information is displayed such that it can be viewed by the user simultaneously with the primary information.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système destinés à remettre à un ordinateur utilisateur des informations fournies par un fournisseur d'informations au moins, les informations fournies ayant trait aux informations primaires affichées via une application. Ledit procédé consiste : (a) à surveiller le statut de l'application affichant les informations primaires pour le compte de l'utilisateur ; (b) à remettre un paquet contextuel dérivé desdites informations primaires au/aux fournisseur(s) d'informations ; (c) à recevoir les informations, qui ont trait aux informations primaires, fournies par le(s) fournisseur(s) d'informations ; et (d) à afficher les informations fournies de manière qu'elles puissent être visualisées par l'utilisateur en même temps que les informations primaires.
