ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a method of enhancing the filming and spotting characteristics of hard surface cleaners, particularly automatic machine dishwashing formulations. These characteristics are improved by incorporating into the formulations copolymers containing as polymerized units (a) one or more C3-C6 monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and (b) one or more aminoacryloyl derivatives.
