A device for healing wounds and sores with the aid of light, including a light emitting element which is intended to lie against or be held close to a wound or sore on the body of an individual, and drive means for driving the light emitting element wherein the light emitting element includes light emitting diodes or like devices and is constructed to emit infrared light. The invention is characterized in that the drive means (8, 9, 19) is constructed to cause the light emitting element (1) to emit infrared light in a first stage for a first predetermined length of time and thereafter to emit visible red light in a second stage for a second predetermined length of time; in that the drive means (8, 9, 10) is constructed to cause the light emitting element (1) to pulsate the emitted infrared light and the emitted red light respectively in accordance with a predetermined series of pulse frequencies over said predetermined time periods.
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de cicatriser des blessures et des lésions à l'aide de rayons lumineux, qui comprend un élément électroluminescent destiné à être placé contre ou à être maintenu tout près de la blessure ou de la lésion à traiter, sur le corps d'un patient, ainsi que des éléments de commande servant à piloter l'élément électroluminescent. Ce dernier comprend des diodes électroluminescentes ou des dispositifs similaires et présente une structure lui permettant d'émettre de la lumière infrarouge. L'invention se caractérise en ce que les éléments de commande (8, 9, 19) sont réalisés de manière à entraîner l'élément électroluminescent (1) à émettre de la lumière infrarouge dans une première phase pour une première durée prédéterminée, puis à émettre de la lumière rouge visible dans une seconde phase, pour une durée prédéterminée. Les éléments de commande (8, 9, 10) se présentent de manière à entraîner l'élément électroluminescent (1) à pulser la lumière infrarouge émise et la lumière rouge visible respectivement en fonction d'une série prédéterminée de fréquences d'impulsions pendant lesdites périodes prédéterminées.
