ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hearing aid having an integrated circuit including one oscillator is provided. The frequency of the oscillator is varied by varying the capacitance of the integrated circuit. Further, the frequency of the oscillator can be selected digitally. At least two capacitive components are integrated in the integrated circuit as partial capacitors, with which the frequency of the oscillatory can be selected. At least one of the partial capacitors is selectively connected to the oscillator through an integrated switch.
