A machine for forming perforations on a continuous length of heavy foil (130), the machine using two substantially identical perforation rollers (101, 102) each with individualized cooperating male and female dies (111, 112) and operating with film having an input speed and output speed substantially identical to that of the circumference of the rollers so as to allow for the perforation function to be accomplished independently of the film drive function. This produces a resultant film having a pattern of holes (132) therein which have edges in compression without weaknesses due to any torque produced by the rollers.

L'invention concerne une machine permettant de ménager des perforations sur une longueur continue d'une feuille(130) très résistante. Cette machine utilise deux rouleaux de perforation (101, 102) sensiblement identiques qui comprennent chacun des moules mâles et des moules femelles (111, 112) séparés coopérant et fonctionnant avec un film présentant une vitesse d'entrée et une vitesse de sortie sensiblement identiques à celles de la circonférence des rouleaux, de manière à permettre le bon déroulement de la perforation indépendamment de la fonction d'entraînement du film. Ce mode de réalisation permet d'obtenir un film présentant un motif à trous (132) pourvu d'angles à la compression mais ne présentant aucune faiblesse causée par un couple produit par les rouleaux.
