- 32 - ABSTRACT The main rotor (1) assembled at bow (3) of hull (4), crosswise to sheer plan, consists of two or more units of cylindrical wheels (5) provided with blades (17). Each unit of cylindrical wheels (5) is provided with its own independent braking device (13). Longitudinal channels (30) and (31) are made underneath bottom (29) and have varying cross- section lenghtwise sheer plan; more precisely they decrease from bow (3) and from stern (32) towards centre of bottom (29). Secondary propelling and manoeuvering devices consist of secondary rotors (2), hydro-jets or else and are housed on bottom (29) in pairs of two (or more).
