An implantable bioabsorbable article for the separation and regeneration of tissue at a tissue defect site. The article comprises a fibrous matrix laminarly affixed to one surface of a cell-barrier sheet material. When implanted it allows ingrowth of tissue into the fibrous matrix side of the material; simultaneously the tissue to be regenerated at the tissue defect site is separated from the ingrowing tissue by the cell-barrier sheet material. A method for making the implantable bioabsorbable article is also described.
Article implantable bioabsorbable permettant de séparer et de régénérer des tissus à un endroit où les tissus sont défectueux. Cet article comprend une matrice fibreuse fixée de manière lamelliforme sur une surface d'un matériau en feuille arrêtant les cellules. Lorsque l'article est implanté, il permet la croissance interne des tissus dans le côté à matrice fibreuse du matériau et il permet simultanément aux tissus devant être régénérés à l'endroit où les tissus sont défectueux d'être séparés des tissus se développant à l'intérieur, par le matériau en feuille arrêtant les cellules.
