The invention concerns the processing of a received digital signal with a spread band obtained using a resulting spread code originating from cutting the binary elements of an initial pseudo-random binary code at a frequency which is a multiple of and synchronous with the initial pseudo-random binary code. As a consequence of the resulting spread code used, such a signal presents a split frequency band occupying two lateral bands (B1, B2) situated at the extremities of a frequency domain whose width depends on the frequency of cutting. The simplified processing for this signal includes considering only one (B1) or the other (B2) of these side bands in the digital signal received, and un-spreading the corresponding partial signal (B1 or B2) by means of the initial pseudo-random binary code from which originates the resulting spread code which has been utilized.
La présente invention est relative au traitement en réception d'un signal de transmission numérique à bande étalée obtenue au moyen d'un code d'étalement dit "résultant" provenant d'un découpage des éléments binaires d'un code binaire pseudo-aléatoire dit "initial", à une fréquence multiple et synchrone du débit du code binaire pseudo-aléatoire initial. Un tel signal de transmission présente, par suite du code d'étalement résultant utilisé, un spectre de fréquence dédoublé occupant deux bandes latérales (B1, B2) situées aux extrémités d'un domaine de fréquence dont la largeur dépend de la fréquence du découpage. On propose un traitement simplifié pour ce type de signal consistant à ne considérer, dans le signal de transmission numérique reçu, que l'une (B1) ou l'autre (B2) de ses bandes latérales, et à désétaler le signal partiel correspondant à la bande latérale considérée (B1 ou B2) au moyen du code binaire pseudo-aléatoire initial à l'origine du code d'étalement résultant effectivement utilisé.
