Disclosed is a means effective for the treatment of infectious diseases, particularly infectious diseases induced by a bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Specifically disclosed are: a monoclonal antibody directed against PcrV or a part of the mono-clonal antibody; and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the monoclonal antibody or the part of the monoclonal antibody as an active ingredient. The monoclonal antibody has excellent inhibitory activity on the cytotoxic activity of a bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa against its target cell. The monoclonal antibody also has high affinity for PcrV.
L'invention porte sur un moyen efficace de traitement de maladies infectieuses, en particulier de maladies infectieuses induites par une bactérie Pseudomonas aeruginosa. De façon précise, l'invention porte sur : un anticorps monoclonal dirigé contre PcrV ou une partie de l'anticorps monoclonal, et sur une composition pharmaceutique comprenant l'anticorps monoclonal ou la partie de l'anticorps monoclonal comme ingrédient actif. L'anticorps monoclonal présente une excellente activité inhibitrice de l'activité cytotoxique d'une bactérie Pseudomonas aeruginosa àl'encontre de sa cellule cible.
