Disclosed is a process for preparing an alkali metal salt of a functionalized alcohol of the formula (I): MOYXR1 (I), (wherein M is Li, Na, K, Rb, or Cs, Y is (C1-C6)-alkylene, X is O, S, or NR1, R1 is H, (C1-C8)-alkyl, (C2-C8)-alkenyl, (C2-C8)-alkynyl, (C3-C8)-cycloalkyl, (C6-C18)-aryl, (C7-C19)-aralkyl, (C3-C18)-heteroaryl, (C4-C19)-heteroaralkyl, ((C1-C8)-alkyl)1-3-(C3-C8)-cycloalkyl, ((C1-C8)-alkyl)1-3- (C6-C18)-aryl, or ((C1-C8)-alkyl)1-3- (C3-C18)-heteroaryl) by reacting the corresponding alcohol with an alkali metal hydroxide or an alkali metal alkoxide of the formula MOR2 (II) (where R2 is lower alkyl), and the distilling liberated alcohol HOR2 or the liberated water at first without an entrainer and then with an added entrainer.
La présente invention divulgue un procédé permettant de préparer un sel métallique alcalin d'un alcool fonctionnel représenté par la formule (I) suivante : MOYXR1 (I), (ou M sont des atomes de Il, Na, K, Rb ou de C, Y est une chaîne alkylène (C1-C6), X représente l'élément O, S, ou NR1; R1 représente H ou l'une des chaînes alkyle (C1-C8), alkényle (C2-C8), alkynyle (C2-C8), cycloalkyle (C3-C8), aryle (C6-C18), aralkyle (C7- C19), hétéroaryle (C3-C18), hétéroaralkyle (C4-C19) , ((C1-C8)-alkyle)1-3-(C3-C8)- cycloalkyle, aryle ((C1-C8)-alkyle)1-3- (C6-C18) ou hétéroaryle ((C1-C8)-alkyle)1-3- (C3-C18)) en faisant réagir l'alcool correspondant à un hydroxide alcalin ou un alkoxide alcalin représenté par la formule MOR2 (II) (ou R2 est un alkyle de faible poids moléculaire), et l'alcool HOR2 libéré par la distillation ou l'eau libérée en premier lieu en l'absence d'un entraîneur, puis en présence d'un entraîneur ajouté.
