A method of determining reservoir permeability and geometry of a subterranean formation having a reservoir fluid including oil that has not been previ-ously water-flooded includes isolating the subterranean formation to be tested; pro-viding an injection fluid at a substantially constant rate from a wellhead to the for-mation being tested, wherein the injection fluid is miscible with the oil at the tested formation; sealing, at the top, the tested formation from further fluid injection; measuring pressure data in the tested for-mation including pressure injection data and pressure falloff data; and determining the reservoir permeability and geometry of the tested formation based on an analy-sis of the measured pressure injection data and the measured pressure falloff data us-ing a well pressure model.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de détermination d'une perméabilité et d'une géométrie de réservoir d'une formation souterraine ayant un fluide de réservoir comprenant du pétrole, qui n'a pas précédemment subi de drainage à l'eau, qui comprend l'isolation de la formation souterraine à tester ; la fourniture d'un fluide d'injection à un débit sensiblement constant à partir d'une tête de puits vers la formation à tester, le fluide d'injection étant miscible avec le pétrole au niveau de la formation testée ; l'étanchéification, au niveau de la partie supérieure, de la formation testée vis-à-vis d'une injection de fluide supplémentaire ; la mesure de données de pression dans la formation testée comprenant des données d'injection de pression et des données de chute de pression ; et la détermination de la perméabilité et de la géométrie de réservoir de la formation testée sur la base d'une analyse des données d'injection de pression mesurées et des données de chute de pression mesurées à l'aide d'un modèle de pression de puits.
