A multidirectional retroreflection element assembly is formed in which five or seven or more unit elements are formed in a retroreflection article such that two common bases forming the triangular base end surface of a unit element and a common apex where the common bases intersect are shared respectively by the common bases and the common apex of an adjacent retroreflection element.
