The object of this Utility Model is a bite indicator floating rod with axial sliding inside a carrier sinker necessary for casting and ensuring its stability. By separating the indicator rod from the sinker holding it, the response of the rod to a taking fish becomes more sensitive because it is relieved from a weight but if the sinker, which is held by a special stopper on the rod itself, is let to perform exactly though infinitesimally its own functions as a sunken body, the stability of the unit will be absolutely improved. Therefore, the contrivance being the object of this Utility Model is the unit made up of a float and a sinker which are independent one of the other as to the antithetic functions they perform, but interdependent as to the aims they have to achieve. The floating rod slides free and light inside the sinker but keeps it suspended in the water, the sinker, in turn, lets the rod slide inside itself freely, but when it is kept suspended, it stabilizes the rod protecting it from all the attacks coming from outside the unit. Different types of carrier sinkers complete the range.
