Process of producing 3-amino-1,2,4-benzotriazine 1,4-dioxide by reacting benzofurazan-1 oxide with disodiumcyanamide under homogeneous conditions followed by allowing crystallization to occur in a buffered solution. In a preferred embodiment, the process comprises reacting benzofurazan-1 oxide with cyanamide and sodium hydroxide under homogeneous conditions followed by purification in a mixture of acetone and acetic acid.

L'invention concerne un procédé relatif à la fabrication de 1,4-dioxyde 3-amino-1,2,4-benzotriazine par réaction d'oxyde de benzofurazan-1 et de cyanamamide disodique, dans des conditions homogènes, puis par cristallisation dans une solution tampon. En mode de réalisation préféré, le procédé repose sur la réaction d'oxyde de benzofurazan-1, de cyanamide et d'hydroxyde de sodium, dans des conditions homogènes, puis sur la purification du produit dans un mélange d'acétone et d'acide acétique.
