The present invention is directed to an interface for a return system that allows one or more merchants to funnel their returns processing to a central returns processing system. A merchant may apply its own, possibly unique set of business rules to a customer return request before linking to the interface or, alternatively, the interface may be programmed to apply the respective business rules of the various merchants. In a preferred embodiment, the returns interface maintains the look and feel for each of the various merchant so that the integration between the merchant system and central returns system is transparent to customers.
La présente invention se rapporte à une interface pour un système de retour qui permet à un ou plusieurs vendeurs de concentrer le traitement de leurs retours vers un système central de traitement de retours. Un vendeur peut appliquer son propre jeu de règles commerciales, lequel peut être unique, à une demande de retour de client avant toute connexion à l'interface ou, dans une variante, l'interface peut être programmée de manière à appliquer les règles commerciales respectives des divers vendeurs. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, l'interface de retours préserve l'aspect et la convivialité pour chacun des différents vendeurs, de façon que l'intégration entre le système de vendeurs et le système central de retours soit transparente pour les clients.
