The invention concerns a protective end cap for tube end (100) comprising a sheath (2) having an axis (3) and a central housing (4) for receiving the tube end (100), with an open end (5) and a closed end (6). The sheath is provided at its open end (5) with a ring (10) capable of being detached from said sheath to form on the tube end (100), after the sheath (2) has been removed and the tube end (100) connected to an equipment (200), a top sealing the interstitial space subsisting between the tube end (100) and the equipment (200).

L'embout de protection pour une extrémité de tube (100) comporte un fourreau (2) ayant un axe (3) et possédant un logement central (4) de réception de l'extré mité de tube (100), avec une extrémité ouverte (5) et une extrémité fermée (6). Le fourreau est pourvu à son extré mité ouverte (5) d'une bague (10) détachable de ce fourreau pour former sur l'extrémité de tube (100), après retrait du fourreau (2) et raccordement de l'extrémité de tube (100) à un équipement (200), un bouchon d'obturation de l'espace interstitiel subsistant entre l'extrémité de tube (100) et l'équipement (200).
