An apparatus (10) for securing sections of turf (12) for initial placement, replacement and/or rotation is provided. The apparatus (10) includes a frame (20) adapted for placement on a section of turf (12). A plurality of spaced apart actuators (40) are mounted to the frame (20). Each actuator (40) has an actuator rod with a sharpened end which is movable between a first, retracted position and a second, extended position. The actuator rods have an insertion angle of approximately 60 degrees or less with respect to a contact surface such as that upon actuation, the actuator rods are moved from the first position to the second position and the sharpened ends of the actuator rods are adapted to pierce the selected section of turf (12) to firmly engage the section of grass turf (12) to the frame (20) for placement or replacement.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) qui permet de fixer des plaques de gazon (12) en vue de leur pose initiale, de leur remplacement et/ou de leur rotation. Le dispositif (10) comprend un châssis (20) conçu pour être posé sur une plaque de gazon (12). Une pluralité d'actionneurs (40) sont montés à distance les uns des autres sur ledit châssis (20). Chaque actionneur (40) comprend une tige d'actionneur pourvue d'une extrémité pointue, qui peut passer d'une première position rétractée à une seconde position sortie et inversement. Les tiges de l'actionneur font un angle d'insertion d'environ 60 degrés maximum avec la surface de contact, de façon qu'après actionnement, elles passent de la première position à la seconde et que leurs extrémités pointues percent la plaque de gazon (12) choisie afin de la bloquer fermement contre le châssis (20) en vue de sa pose ou de son remplacement.
