A method and substrate for printing information wherein at least one coating (31) is applied to a substrate (20), the coating (31) having a colorformer leucodye and at least one color activator. The colorformer leucodye and at least one activator react when heated to exhibit a chromic change of at least one of a color change visible in normal light and a fluorescence visible only in ultraviolet light. The at least one coating (31) is heated with at least one laser beam (10) to effect the chromic change at selected points to thereby print information.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un support d'impression de données, au moins un revêtement (31) étant appliqué sur un substrat (20) et le revêtement (31) comprenant un leucodérivé de colorant de substance chromogène et au moins un activateur de couleur. Le leucodérivé de colorant de substance chromogène et l'activateur produisent une réaction lorsqu'ils sont chauffés de manière à présenter une modification chromique d'au moins un virage de couleur visible à la lumière normale ou d'une fluorescence visible uniquement sous des rayons ultraviolets. Le revêtement (31) est chauffé avec au moins un faisceau laser (10) pour que la modification chromique s'effectue à des points sélectionnés pour une impression de données.
