The invention relates to an antiballistic shaped part comprising a stack of composite layers which are not linked to one another, each composite layer comprising two or more monolayers of unidirectionally oriented fibres in a matrix, the fibres in each monolayer being at an angle to the fibres in an adjoining monolayer, the fibres being aramid fibres or poly(p-phenylenebenzobisoxazole) fibres, the composite layer containing at most 10 % by weight of an elastomeric matrix material (calculated on the basis of the total weight of the composite layer), the composite layer having a total weight of at most 800 g/m2, and the fibre content in each monolayer being between 10 and 200 g/m2. The invention also comprises a method for fabricating said shaped part and body armour in which the shaped part is used.
L'invention concerne une pièce façonnée antibalistique constituée d'un empilement de couches composites non liées les unes aux autres. Chaque couche composite comprend deux ou plusieurs monocouches de fibres qui sont orientées de manière unidirectionnelle dans une matrice et forment un angle par rapport aux fibres contenues dans la monocouche adjacente. Les fibres sont en aramide ou en poly(p-phénylènebenzobisoxazole). La couche composite, qui contient au moins 10 % en poids d'un matériau de matrice élastomère (calculé sur la base du poids total de la couche composite), a un poids total d'au moins 800 g/m<2>, et la teneur en fibres de chaque monocouche est comprise entre 10 et 200 g/m<2>.
