The present disclosure provides methods for treating cancer in a patient in need of such treatment, the method includes prequalifying a patient's therapeutic treatment by performing a molecular imaging procedure to the patient using a labeled biomarker specific for a cancer target at the tumor site; and administering a therapeutic effective amount of a compound comprising a targeting agent linked to a chemotherapeutic or a targeting agent linked to an antibody. Embodiments of the present invention also include compounds and compositions for using such methods.
La présente invention concerne des méthodes de traitement d'un cancer chez un patient dont l'état nécessite un tel traitement, la méthode consistant à présélectionner un traitement thérapeutique pour le patient en appliquant une procédure d'imagerie moléculaire au patient à l'aide d'un biomarqueur marqué spécifique d'une cible cancéreuse au niveau du site tumoral et à administrer une dose thérapeutiquement efficace d'un composé contenant un agent de ciblage lié à un agent chimiothérapeutique ou un agent de ciblage lié à un anticorps. Certains modes de réalisation de l'invention concernent des composés et des compositions permettant la mise en oeuvre desdites méthodes.
