A body fluid sampling device (30) includes a firing mechanism (52) that is configured to be automatically cocked and fired. In one form, the device (30) includes an electric motor (50) that is operable cock the firing mechanism (52) and fire an integrated lancet/sampling device (36) to form an incision in skin. Subsequent to formation of the incision, the integrated lancet device (36) is temporarily removed from the skin to promote bleeding from the incision. After a specified period of time, the integrated lancet device (36) is then repositioned against the skin in order to collect a fluid sample.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'échantillonnage de fluide biologique (30) comprenant un mécanisme d'allumage (52) qui est configuré de façon à être automatiquement en position et allumé. Selon une forme d'exécution, le dispositif (30) comprend un moteur électrique (50) apte à armer le mécanisme d'allumage (52) et à mettre en marche une lancette/un dispositif d'échantillonnage (36) afin de pratiquer une incision dans la peau.
